On May 17th, Mr Tyler Froatz had his status hearing on charges stemming from his armed confrontation at the May 1st immigrant rights rally. A judge ordered him held-and set a next hearing date for June 20.

Froatz' lawyer did a reasonable job of arguing that the weapons cache recovered from his home in the May 2 police raid were "anitques" and part of a collection, but the judge was not fooled.

Nobody was buying that shit about "antique molotov cocktail, antique stun gun, etc!" The judge stated that the case suggested the weapons collection was intended for "future criminal conduct" and ordered that Mr Froatz continue to be held without bond in DC Jail. His parents complained that he is having an absolutely MISERABLE time as a white racist in DC Jail!

There remains one question: How many MORE of these armed racists are out there-and what are they planning? You see one cockroach, there are 1,000 in the baseboards!

Had the events of the past month been a fire at, say Capitol Hummer and an armed confrontation with a "wise use" anti-environmental rally, you can bet grand juries would be calling in members of groups all the way down to the Sierra Club with boatloads of questions.

I have not heard anything about members of the MinuteKlan being subpeonaed to grand juries, suggesting that threats to corporate profits are deemed more important than armed threats to human life.
