That racist anti-immigrant book signing at the Capitol Holiday Inn(550 C st SW) set for July 15th was CANCELLED in midst of incredible bickering about "nobody showing up!"
Members of Resistance and Solidarity who entered the hotel prior to our own planned counter-rally saw the damnedest thing: Almost no MinuteKlan and a hell of a lot of loud arguing by the few who were there at all.

A couple of the about TEN attendees staying at the Holiday Inn were yelling and crying about travelling halfway across the country for an event where nobody shows up. The booksigning was supposed to be in a bar inside the hotel, but it had been cancelled and the bigots at the scene were beyond pissed at one another for this failure.

Since they were fighting each other, we stood down as a protest outside could have ended the bickering by causing them to unite against us. It is as Sun Tzu says: "sit on the riverbank and watch the bodies go by" when your enemies fight one another.

A ten-hour vigil planned for June 14th at the White House also failed due to lack of attendance-a ten hour vigil with ten at a time had to be called off.

We will see tomorrow (12 noon, Canadian Embassy)how few of these bigots are left when the sorry remnants of the national MinuteKlan are reinforced by the local bigots from Herndon (Tyler Froatz's crew) and Gaithersburg. Come on out and help FINISH OFF this bigoted, KKK-inspired group!

Perhaps Simcox embezzled the money others planned to travel on? I wonder who is paying for all those empty hotel rooms if they were rented as a block. Yet another question is how these ten bigot are treating the mostly Latina workers who make up their beds every day while they are in town.
