A shocking report came in from the Immigrant Solidarity Caravan as they prepared to set out for Manassas from Culpeper,VA. Sanctuary movement leader Elvira Arellano has just been arrested by ICE and is being held in detention in Los Angeles!

She had just spoke at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in downtown La, and was preparing to go to another church to speak. -Moments after she got in her van her van was surrounded by Federal Gestapo!

Agents howling at the top of their lungs demanded she get out of the van, though they did allow her a few moments with her so before hauling her away to a detention camp.

On top of all else, ICE had the nerve to call her a criminal after treating her like a terrorist-here's their statement:

"Arellano, who was taken into custody without incident, is being processed for removal to Mexico based upon a deportation order originally issued by a federal immigration judge in 1997."

This while she was in transit from one church to another! ICE's spokesman then threatened to do the same to other immigrants in the Sanctuary Movement: "Arresting and removing criminal aliens is one of ICE's top enforcement priorities and the agency will continue to pursue these cases vigorously."

In other words, ICE has just declared WAR on the sanctuary movement!

Elvira Arellano took cover in Adalberto United Methodist Church in Chicago for a year to keep ICE's thugs off her back, and had been engaged in a speaking tour at the time she was detained.

Rick Biesada, founder of the Chicago MinuteKlan, whined that the cops should have stormed the church in Chicago, moaning that the Sanctuary movement can now exact a high price for arreasts like this one: "Now we're going to have hell to pay in this country trying to extract these people."

Damned right-We in the activst commonity are going to come down on ICE with everything we've got for this!
