The MD State Highway Administration has just awarded a contract for the first phase of ICC contruction. The contract was awarded to "Intercounty Constructors" of Annapolis, MD, a joint venture of Granite Construction Company, Corman Construction Inc and G.A.&F.C. Wagman, Inc.
MD Governor O'Malley was quoted by the SHA as saying "It's time to get to work." Indeed it is-if we want to stop the ICC, it's NOW OR NEVER! This summer is the crucial time to get this contract and all plans ofr ICC contruction stopped in court or revoked in Annapolis.
